The Achray House Hotel is ideally situated for Munro bagging in the Southern Highlands, with over 50 of the 284 Munro's within one hour's drive. There are also plenty of Corbetts (2,500 feet) and Grahams (2,000 feet) if you tire of the Munros.
With a choice between comfortably appointed en suite rooms in the hotel, and self catering lodges on the hillside a few paces from the hotel you can choose the accommodation to suit your needs. We are also happy to provide fully catered accommodation in the lodges as well as the hotel.
Your hosts Alan and Jane are keen Munroists, having climbed all the local peaks, and can give you advice on summits and itineraries which will suit your objectives best.
We are happy to accommodate early starts, and can supply appropriate packed lunches for serious or more casual hill walking.
If the weather is less than kind, we have drying facilities for walking clothes and boots.
Dinner at Achray House is one of the highlights of the day. Enjoy fine food using the best local seasonal ingredients whilst you look out over the loch, followed perhaps by a glass of malt whisky from our extensive collection.
