The Clachan Cottage is located in a stunning lochside position on the sunny south facing shore of Loch Earn, with views over the loch towards Ben Ouhr and Glen Ample. Munros Ben Vorlich, Stuc a’ Chroin, are a short walk from the hotel. Given the hotels proximity to Crianlarich, Loch Tay and Stathyre, there are 30 Munroes within 30 minutes drive of the hotel making it a great Munro centre.The hotel is also a superb base for a wide range of other activities: waterskiing, sailing, canoeing, golf, cycling, fishing etc. Lochearnhead Watersports Centre is 500 yds from the hotel and the Lochs and Glens National Cycle Route 7 passes within a mile of the hotel. This superb cycle route starts near Glasgow and runs for over 200 miles, going through both Loch Lomond & the Trossachs and the Cairngorms National Parks before ending in Inverness.
